Join the ABAA’s Women’s Initiative for a Networking Reception at this year’s Boston Antiquarian Book Fair. The reception will take place on Saturday, November 12th, 7:00pm ET, in the Fairfax Room (3rd floor) of the Sheraton Boston Back Bay. Wine and snacks will be served, and all are welcome.
The ABAA Women’s Initiative was formed to promote greater involvement and participation of women in the book trade. The goals of the initiative are to support women book and manuscript sellers, create policies that promote gender equity in the trade, facilitate recruitment efforts aimed at women book and manuscript sellers, and expand diversity in the market by developing women as collectors and in collections.
